Truly Turmeric Golden Drink is perfect at the end of the day to help you relax and unwind! Especially good during cold weather, or if you are feeling under the weather!
This recipe is based off my grandmothers Haldi Doohd, a traditional ayurvedic drink that was always given to me when I was sick. It made sore throats feel so much better and helped me sleep!
*Makes 1 mug
Ingredients:
1-2 cups milk or nut milk of choice
*we recommend silk unsweetened coconut milk for a dairy free option
1 tsp Truly Turmeric with Black Pepper
1 tsp Cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp Clove powder
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
Add ingredients together in a small pot and heat on stove top for 5 min on low/med low. Remove from heat and strain into mug.
Sweeten with up to 1-2 tsps of preferred sweetener. We love to use honey, but you can try maple syrup or organic cane sugar.
Done! Now go enjoy some well deserved relaxation!
