Turmeric Citrus Tonic


☀️ Citrus Ginger Turmeric Tonic ☀️⁣⁠

This might just be the best way to start your day. Zesty, refreshing, and anti-inflammatory. If you don’t love taking your curcumin pill, this is a tasty way to get in a dose of turmeric first thing! ⁣⁠

⁣⁠

2 oranges, peeled⁣⁠

1 lemon, juiced⁣⁠

1-inch piece of ginger⁣⁠

2 tsp Truly Turmeric Paste⁣⁠

Pinch of black pepper⁣⁠

1 cup water⁣⁠

Sweetener, to taste (optional)⁣⁠

⁣⁠

Blend everything in a blender until smooth. If desired, strain out the pulp, but we like to keep it in for extra health benefits (hellooo, fibre!). If desired, add a sweetener like honey or maple syrup, to taste. ⁣⁠
