Today, almost four years after we first launched Truly Turmeric, Umeeda and I are incredibly proud to announce that Naledo Foods and Beverages Inc has become a Certified B Corporation. B Corps are a new type of company that uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. B Corp certification is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to produce.
Naledo was certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We’ve evaluated how our practices impact our employees, our community, the environment, and our customers.

Why did Naledo become a Certified B Corp™?
From day one Naledo has been a social enterprise, founded on the principle of being a better business for better lives. We wanted to be able to ensure we were being effective in our mission to not only produce amazing products, but the benefit the environment and communities we partner with.
