Truly Turmeric Hummus

This great #TrulyTurmeric recipe is from Nisha-Nutritionist RD-NYC


We love making our own hummus! It is so easy and by adding our fresh turmeric taste you get a great burst of flavour and all the antioxidants and anti-inflammatories benefits in a great snack. 



In a food processor or blender mix:

1 1/2 cups cooked garbanzos or you can use chickpeas

1 tbsp mellow miso

Zest 1 lemon, juice 1 lemon

2  cloves garlic (or more If you LOVE garlic) 

2 tbsp tahini

1 heaping tsp truly turmeric with black pepper

1/2 teaspoon clove powder

Olive oil as needed (or a few tbsp of water) until consistency is just right.🌱

Salt/pepper to taste
