Anti-Inflammatory Warm Turmeric Drink

This is a great way to start your mornings... especially if you are looking to reduce your daily intake of caffeine. A big thanks to SuperLife for this great recipe and photos!

Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian

 

Makes 1 Serving

 

KITCHEN UTENSILS

  • Whisk or fork for mixing

  • Bowl or jar with an air-tight lid

WHOLESOME INGREDIENTS

(Note: Use all organic, fresh ingredients if possible)

 

WITH TRULY TURMERIC PASTE:

1 tbsp turmeric paste

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp cinnamon

1 cup coconut milk

Optional extra sweetener:

– 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup

– Stevia for sweetness with no added sugar

 

STEPS TO SOMETHING DELICIOUS

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and gently warm over low heat.

  2. Use an immersion blender or pour into blender and blend for 30 second or until creamy and foamy.

  3. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
